Introduction: Located in the north of Longhua Culture and Arts Center, and covering a floor area of about 5,000 square meters, the Longhua Library has seven departments open to the public, including lecture hall, reception desk, newspaper and magazine reading room, electronic reading room, open reading room, and children’s reading room. The 454-seat library boasts a collection of more than 77,000 books and over 1,000 newspapers or magazines and has issued 6,900 valid library cards so far. It was rated as a second-level grass-root library in Shenzhen and became a temporary district-level Library for Longhua in July, 2018.

(2) Longhua District Library Qinghu Branch

Introduction: Located on the third floor of the elderly activity center of Qinghu New Village in Longhua District, and covering an area of 480 square meters, the library boasts a collection of 24,160 books, 98 seats and 50 computers. It was officially opened to the public on May 18, 2011 and was rated as a third-level grass-root library in Shenzhen on November 20, 2014. In 2012, the library was incorporated into a unified service platform named "A City of Libraries," providing free services such as library cards issuance, book lending, electronic reading, and more to the readers.

(3) Longhua District Library Shuidou Xinwei Branch

Introduction: Located on the second and third floors ofthe No.1 worker’s library at Shuidou New Village, and covering a floor area of 600 square meters, the library boasts a collection of 24,301 books, 128 seats, and 28 computers. It was rated as a third-level grass-root library in Shenzhen, and as incorporated into the unified service platform “City of Libraries” in 2012, providing free library cards, free book lending, free electronic reading, and other services for readers.

(4) Longhua Library Yesun Branch

Introduction: Located on the second floor ofthe block A of Fushangjia at Yesun Science and Technology Park in Guanlan Subdistrict, the library is jointly sponsored by Longhua District Government and Yesun Group. With a floor area of 400 m², the library holds a total collection of 30,991 books, 59 seats, and 11 computers. It was officially opened to the public in November, 2008 and was rated as a third-level grass-root library in Shenzhen in 2010. In 2012, it was incorporated into the unified service platform “City of Libraries,” providing free library cards, free book lending, free electronic reading, and other services for readers.
