As a diverse and glamorous urban district, Longhua is attracting an increasing number of international friends to live and work here with rich regional 

cultures, and these people have emerged as a driver for its high-quality development.

To present a culturally integrated Longhua in the eyes of international friends, Longhua District Foreign Affairs Bureau is to host the “Hello Longhua” 2023 Expats Vlog Competition. The contest is now open for registration. Join us!

Content

Submitted videos shall centre on featured locations in Longhua.

Submission Requirements

i) A 3-to 5-minute pre-recorded relevant video shall be sent to lhvlog@qq.com.

ii) All original languages are accepted, and bilingual subtitles including Chinese shall be offered. No more than 200M in file size, videos shall be shot in landscape orientation, in the format of MP4、MOV、FIV、AVI, and with a clear voice and stable and high-definition pictures.

iii) Please include in the email your name, nationality and telephone number, as well as a brief description of the submitted work.

Procedures

Professional experts will review and evaluate videos 7 days after the submission deadline, and roll out the final ranking.

Judging

Each entry will be evaluated and scored based on the following criteria:

i). Creativity and originality.

ii). Expression skills (humour, interest, dramatic, storytelling, body language, etc.)

iii). Technical competency of the entry, number of audience’s praise and comment.

iv). Adherence to the competition requirements and rules and so on.
