Guidance on printing out floating population information (information form for mainland residents)

1. Introduction

People residing in Shenzhen with or without a household registration (hukou) in Shenzhen can print out the certificate of residence for the purpose of applying for the residence permit, children's schooling, driver's license, etc. in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone (SEZ) on the condition that the community grid staff has completed their door-to-door registration.

5. Processing procedures (optional)

1) Online processing: Visit the official website of Guangdong Government Services (https://www.gdzwfw.gov.cn/), and upload the application materials according to the instructions.

2) Window processing: The applicant may submit application materials at the service window of any subdistrict administrative service hall.

6. Application materials (all materials submitted must be verified for validity)

1)In the case of inquiring and printing out the information form by applicants themselves, they shall submit the valid personal identity certificate (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission).

2)In the case of inquiring and printing out an information form by authorized agents,

I. When printing out the information form of one's spouse, the applicant shall  submit:

A.A Power of Attorney statement with the signature of the authorizing person (original document)

B.Proof of relationship, including Marriage Certificate or Household Register that states the marital relationship (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

C.Valid identity certificate of the authorizing person (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

D.Valid identity certificate of the authorized person (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

II. When printing out the information form for one's children, the applicant shall submit:

A.Proof of relationship, including Birth Certificate, Household Register or other certificates that state parent-child relationship (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

B.Valid identity certificate of the guardian (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

III. When printing out the information form for one's parents, the applicant shall submit:

A.A Power of Attorney statement with the signature of the authorizing person (original document)

B.Proof of relationship, including Birth Certificate, Household Register or other certificates that state parent-child relationship (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

C.Valid identity certificate of the authorizing person (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

D.Valid identity certificate of the authorized person (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

(Note: Since the new version of the SEZ Residence Permit does not show the expiration date, it is not advised to use it as a valid identity certificate. The community grid management office recommends using the original resident ID card for all online applications.)

3) In the case of either making an inquiry or printing out an information form by a lawyer handling a relevant case, they shall submit the following documents:

A.An official letter with the official seal issued by the law firm to apply for the inquiry/printing (original document)

B.Lawyer's Practicing License (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

C.Power of Attorney with the signature of the authorizing person (original document)

D.Valid identity certificate of the authorizing person (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)

4) In the case of either making an inquiry or printing out an information form by the personnel from public security, procuratorial and justice departments, people's courts,  or discipline inspection departments, the applicant shall submit the following documents:

A.An official letter with the official seal issued by the said department to apply for the inquiry/printing (original document)

B.Work document of the personnel issued by the said department (the original document for examination and one photocopy for submission)
