An international IP-based indoor amusement complex—integrating multiple themed attractions along with supporting facilities for dining, retail and performing arts—is set to be established in Shenzhen’s Longhua District.
The project was formalized through an agreement signed between the Longhua District Key Area Construction Center and Max-Matching Entertainments at the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Expo Asia in Shanghai on July 1.
The expo took place from June 30 to July 5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), with the trade show floor open from July 1 to 3. Thousands of industry professionals from around the world gathered to explore the latest innovations and emerging trends shaping the future of global entertainment, tourism, and cultural industries.
This project marks the third international IP-based indoor amusement complex introduced to the Chinese market by Max-Matching Entertainments. The company will also collaborate with the China branch of RWS Global—a world-leading experiential entertainment and live events company—to bring a selection of Broadway productions and themed shows to the complex.
According to Longhua District Key Area Construction Center, the cooperation with Max-Matchmaking Entertainment will boost the development of modern fashion, cultural and tourism industry in Longhua District, adding another landmark facility to the local cultural industrial cluster.
Max-Matchmaking Entertainments is an industry-leading Chinese developer, investor and operator of location-based entertainment projects, rapidly expanding across Asia.
