As the Year of the Horse galloped across screens worldwide, the 2026 Spring Festival Gala hosted by China Media Group — a cultural phenomenon reaching over 1.4 billion viewers — once again showcased the pinnacle of Chinese technological prowess. At the heart of this visual extravaganza were two industry leaders from Longhua District: Leyard Group and DAMODA Intelligent Control Technology.

A 27-Year legacy in high-definition

For Leyard Group, a global pioneer in LED display technology, this year marked a remarkable 27th consecutive appearance at the Gala. Specializing in immersive visual environments, Leyard provided over 2,000 square meters of ultra-high-definition (UHD) display products and creative stage design for both the main Beijing venue and the Yiwu sub-venue.

On the Beijing main stage, Leyard integrated mechanical screen structures with virtual reality (VR) and UHD projections, transforming the stage into a sprawling, digital scroll resembling a traditional Chinese painting for the creative show "The Flower Goddess" and the dance piece “Ancient Rhythms of the Silk Road.”

Over nearly three decades of participation, Leyard has maintained a “zero-error, high-quality” standard. The company deployed a dedicated service team to manage everything from initial planning to the live New Year's Eve broadcast, ensuring the seamless fusion of "Culture + Tech."

Drones over the Yangtze: Precision at 1 meter

While Leyard dominated the screens, DAMODA took to the skies. Marking its seventh appearance at the Gala, the Longhua-based drone specialist deployed a massive fleet of 6,500 UAVs at the Yibin sub-venue.

The performance pushed the boundaries of aerial robotics:

Ultra-low altitude: Drones maintained formation as low as one meter above the water’s surface.

Extreme resilience: The fleet operated flawlessly despite complex signal interference and high-humidity, cold conditions.

Sustainability: Among the fleet, 5,000 units featured box-style automatic charging systems, significantly increasing operational efficiency for multiple rehearsals.

The 'Longhua standard'

The presence of these firms at the 2026 Spring Festival Gala signifies more than just a successful show; it represents a Longhua-based supply chain capable of delivering reliability, safety, and cutting-edge innovation at scale. As Longhua continues to champion "Digital Longhua," its home-grown enterprises are increasingly becoming the invisible infrastructure behind the world's most sophisticated cultural displays.
