Mexican politicians seek cooperation in SZ

A delegation consisting of 17 representatives from five political parties in Mexico visited Shenzhen on Jan. 30 to explore opportunities for win-win cooperation in investment, technology, infrastructure, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.

Led by parliamentarian Yeidckol Polevnsky Gurwitz, the delegation toured Huawei's base in Longgang District, BYD's headquarters in Pingshan District and the Longhua International Cooperation Center.


The delegation expressed their eagerness for more high-tech and NEV (New Energy Vehicle) enterprises from Shenzhen to enter the Mexican market, which they believe will contribute significantly to the country's development in infrastructure construction, smart transportation, the NEV industry, and green transportation.


The delegation also expressed their desire to deepen friendly exchanges and mutual learning with local government bodies in Shenzhen.
