Registration opens for Longhua youth tennis tournament

Registration is under way for the 2026 Shenzhen “Longhua Cup” Youth Tennis Tournament, which will bring up to 240 young players to Minzhi Subdistrict in Longhua later this month.


The tournament, which also serves as the first leg of the 2026 Shenzhen Youth Tennis Ranking Series (CTJ-B500), will take place Aug. 24-25 at the tennis hall on the fifth floor of Jianshang Sports Complex.

Boys’ and girls’ singles events will be held in three age groups: U10, U12 and U14. The U10 and U12 draws each have 48 places for boys and 48 for girls, while the two U14 events each have 24 places.


International players are eligible to enter and must present a valid passport at check-in. Players from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan must provide a valid mainland travel permit.


Subject to the relevant eligibility requirements, participants can earn points toward China’s national junior tennis rankings. Players seeking national ranking points must register through the China Tennis Association’s individual membership website at ctj.imcta.cn.


The competition begins with a round-robin group stage, followed by a single-elimination stage. U10 matches will use green-dot balls, while the U12 and U14 divisions will use standard tennis balls.


Registration closes at 8 p.m. Aug. 17. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis through the “网球记赛事” WeChat mini-program.

The entry fee is 200 yuan (US$30) per player per event. Players who withdraw before registration closes may request a refund through the mini-program. Entry fees will not be refunded for withdrawals made after the deadline.


The tournament is approved by the China Tennis Association for ranking points and organized by the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Longhua District and the Shenzhen Tennis Association.

U14 eligibility: Players born after Jan. 1, 2012
