An inaugural ceremony was held at the new campus of Longhua Senior High School in Longhua District on Sept. 1 to mark the opening of ten new schools and campuses in the district and the start of the 2020-21 school year.

Newly-opened schools in the district are the Guanlan Campus of Longhua Senior High School, Shenzhen Arts High School, Longhua Minzhi Middle School Education Group Minxin School, and the Hongyi Campus of Longhua Middle School. Besides, the new campuses of five schools, namely Longhua Senior High School, Longhua Second Foreign Languages School, Qingquan Foreign Languages School, Innovation Experimental School, and the Experimental School Affiliated to Longhua District Research Institute of Education, were also put into use.

The district will build 18 more schools this year, providing more than 25,000 school seats upon completion.
