Dalang Subdistrict is located in the northern part of Shenzhen’s central area and the western part of Longhua District. It was established on April 29, 2006, and covers a total area of 37.84 square kilometers, of which 19.7 square kilometers fall within the ecological control zone and water source protection area. The subdistrict has a population of approximately 557,000, including about 83,000 registered residents. It administers 12 community workstations, 21 neighborhood committees, and 23 community joint-stock cooperative companies.
