Project Information

Animal mammary gland bioreactor built by precision gene editing technology

Field Biotechnology
Country or region Sichuan, China
Project requirement

Funding demand: 25 million RMB for this round of financing.

Expansion demand: to realize the early development of several product pipelines, animal experiments into clinical phase 1, raw material products can be quickly realized through various channels of cash flow, to accept the injection of capital from the head institutions in the same field as well as the docking of industrial resources.

Project details The first new, efficient and high-yield protein synthesis platform in China, R & D and production of protein drugs and products. The founding team is from the division of the well-known ASC in the United States (its innovative drug has entered clinical phase II, with a total financing of 80 million US dollars), with independent research and development of core technology, the use of DNA integrase technology for efficient and accurate large fragment gene insertion, to establish the world's exclusive and the country's first animal mammary bioreactor. Compared with competitive products in the industry with high yield, high activity, and fast modeling. The current animal mammary gland bioreactor druggability has been verified, the FDA has approved 1 sheep, 2 rabbit products, Chengdu Institute of biological products rabbit mammary products IND application has been approved by CDE. Completed the creation of 2 production strains of rabbits and 1 strain of sheep, and rabbit products entered the production process stage. It is expected that by 2024, 10 production lines of animals will be established and the product pipeline BAJ-701 will complete early development, production process and/or animal testing.
