A multitude of Chinese and foreign reading enthusiasts gathered at LICC to read books and jointly perform the classic masterpiece "The Merchant of Venice" vividly!

At the event, participants shared their favorite foreign books with each other.

During the drama experience segment, participants read the scripts carefully, assigned roles, and rehearsed classic scene excerpts.

Participants were divided into groups to perform the classic scene from Shakespeare's renowned play "The Merchant of Venice" - the contract between Antonio and Shylock.
