Shenzhen has a large volunteer community and a strong atmosphere of volunteer service. As this year marks APEC China year,volunteers are now being recruited from across society to support international exchange and service efforts.

01.Expectations and tasks as an LICC Volunteer

Event Support

Assistance in international activities or conferences, on-site services, guest reception, order guidance, etc.

Language Services

Participation in  polishes foreign language translation of the public signs in the community, offering tour guide services, and interpretingat events, etc.

Cultural Exchange

Assistance in organizing activities such as foreign language corners, Chinese language learning sessions, traditional Chinese clothing experiences, tea culture events, Chinese calligraphy and painting, and support in photography, videography, talent shows, and charity performances, etc.

02.These qualities are valued 

Possess basic abilities and physical fitness for participating in volunteer services.

Be enthusiastic about social welfare and volunteer service.

Adherence to laws and regulations, as well as the relevant provisions of the volunteer service organization.

International friends working/living in Shenzhen 

or 

Chinese residents with a certain level of proficiency in foreign languages.

04.How to become a LICC Volunteer?

Via Wechat

Follow "Intl Services Longhua" official wechat account--choose "国合中心" ➡️ "志愿服务".

STEP 2

Volunteer Registration and Login.

Fill out your information.

STEP 4

When choosing "主组织" ("Major Organization"),  the following steps are suggested: choose "龙华区志愿者联合会" (Longhua Volunteer Federation) ➡️ "龙华团体会员组织" (Longhua Group Membership Organization) ➡️  "龙华国合中心LICC志愿服务队" (Longhua LICC Volunteers).

After submitting the application, applicants will receive a volunteer ID upon completing identity verification and attending the new volunteer training.
