Guanlan Ancient Market has transformed into a festive hub for exploring, playing, socializing, and enjoying music. The ancient market party, "Xu You Ji" (Market Roaming), is now officially open!

Yingge Dance Performance: Exclusive Show on October 3

Regular light shows: daily at 19:30 and 20:30, 10 minutes each

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Dragon & Lion Cultural Carnival

Amid thunderous drums and gongs, the lions come alive. Leading lion dance troupes from across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area gather here, with the high-post lion dance competition delivering electrifying contests of leaps and agile movements that showcase the full spirit of the southern lion.

October 1: Grand opening ceremony, featuring the lion eye-dotting ceremony, a lion parade and the high-post lion dance competition.

October 2: Lion dance routine performances, Hung Gar martial arts and Wing Chun boxing will be staged in turn, alongside open trial classes in calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, Wing Chun and self-defence. Members of the public are invited to take part on site and learn these traditional skills at first hand.

The New Hall of Shenzhen Cultural Center: 

Three Major Special Exhibitions in One Visit

This brand-new cultural venue, directly accessible by metro, began trial operation on September 28, featuring three distinctive inaugural special exhibitions. Visitors may turn the pages of replica volumes of the Siku Quanshu (Complete Library in Four Sections) and feel the texture of the paper; explore hundreds of tools and structural components in the exhibition on the Construction Techniques of Official-Style Architecture of the Palace Museum to appreciate the building wisdom of the Forbidden City; or put on headsets and travel back to the ancient Shu Kingdom of 3,000 years ago in the "Sanxingdui: Light and Shadow of Shu" XR Immersive Experience Exhibition.

Marisfrolg Headquarters: 

An Architectural Marvel Opens for a Limited Time

Normally closed to the public, this much-sought-after landmark — long regarded as one of the city's most exclusive photo spots — will open for a limited period from the National Day holiday. It will also host the "Shengshengman" Contemporary Art Exhibition, covering a range of art forms including fibre art, ceramics and glass.

Luhu Art Center: 

Three Major Performances in Succession During the National Day Holiday

The stage play Qingqing Wuwo will be staged at 19:30 from October 2 to 4. Starring Qin Xiaoxian, Yang Jiulang and Zhu Meiji in the leading roles, it portrays the helplessness of ordinary people caught in the currents of a great era, blending laughter with tears.

At 19:00 on October 4, Lin Jiaqi's "Happy Holiday" concert will kick off. Structured around three thematic threads — a journey through time, the synergy of musical styles and a holiday rendezvous — the performance brings together years of musical passion and craftsmanship to create an immersive and healing musical holiday.

Ning Feng and the Kammerakademie Potsdam (Potsdam Chamber Academy) of Germany will perform the complete Mozart violin concertos at 19:30 on October 6 and 7 — a classical music event of both high artistic calibre and genuine rarity.

Yangtai Mountain Forest Park and the Guanlan River Greenway: 

A Breath of the Wild in the City

Looking to embrace nature during the holiday? Those who enjoy a challenge can head to Yangtai Mountain Forest Park, walk along its suspended glass skywalk and take in panoramic views of the city skyline. For a leisurely half-day outing, the 14.2-kilometre Guanlan River Greenway is an ideal choice — cycle along the river and watch the egrets, with gentle intensity and pleasant scenery throughout.
