Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Returnees Association was founded on 19th December, 2013 and is the first association approved and registered by civil affairs authorities in China to take returnees as individuals, mainly composed of returnees who have overseas study experience and especially the younger generations, who live and work in Shenzhen and voluntarily formed a non-profit social group to carry out activities independently.
Since the establishment of this association, Shenzhen Association of Returned Overseas Chinese mainly carries out the exchange and interaction of returned overseas Chinese and elites from all walks of life, reserves and provides talents for the relevant departments. We organises members to carry out business exchanges, entrepreneurial exchanges, conferences and exhibitions, talent exchange and consultation, cooperation, investigation, interaction, information sharing, theme activities, cooperation and promotion, etc., attracting and uniting more returned overseas Chinese elites from all walks of life, accelerating the promotion of resource integration and services of the crowd, and establishing a multi-profit social organisation. The integration of resources and services will be accelerated for this group of people in order to establish a multi-party communication platform, enhance the sense of social responsibility of returnees, and establish a good image of the Party and the government in the eyes of the new generation of returnees in the new era. At the same time, we will give full play to the important role of returnees in the development of Shenzhen's political, economic, cultural and social undertakings, expanding friendly exchanges and promoting Shenzhen's internationalisation and construction. In the future, the Association will continue to adhere to the spirit of our association, and do our best to provide professional and high-quality services for the returnees in Shenzhen, to fulfil our commitment and mission to the returnees in Shenzhen, and to make contributions to the future development of the returnees in Shenzhen and even in China.
