Merchiston International School (MIS)

Merchiston International School (MIS) in Shenzhen is the first overseas campus of Merchiston Castle School, a top-ranked independent school located in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK with an outstanding history of over 188 years. MIS is the first and only international school providing a British education and boarding system in Shenzhen.

Located in Longhua District, MIS covers a total area of 20,000 square meters. With a floor area of 50,000 square meters, MIS can accommodate 1,200 students. The campus first opened in August 2018, providing education to boys and girls aged 4-18 (Early Years to Year 13), with maximum class sizes of 22 students.

The main teaching language is English. MIS provides students in Early Years to Year 9 with the UK National Curriculum and MIS’s well-designed Chinese language program. Students in Years 10-13 will receive the IGCSE courses and GCE A Level courses. Our curriculum prepares students for the world’s leading universities and better performances in society.

Inherited from Merchiston Castle School, MIS features a variety of co-curriculum activities including sports, arts, culture, and science, with professional venues and facilities. At MIS, students’ interests and strengths will be fully developed, including music, drama, art, technology, soccer, swimming, basketball, tennis, rugby, and golf.

Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School

Founded in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) is jointly run by Hong Kong Pui Kiu College and Hong Kong Xinyi Group. It offers 12-year quality education to students of Hong Kong, Macau and mainland residents and that of expatriates who work and live in Shenzhen.

The school offers both the Chinese National Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum at primary and junior secondary levels.
