Longhua has been selected to host two competitions at the 15th National Games of China: the Women’s Volleyball (U18) tournament and the Aeromodeling event. The events will take place across three venues: the Longhua Culture and Sports Center, Jianshang Sports Complex, and Mission Hills Reclub in Guanlan Subdistrict.

The Women’s Volleyball (U18) matches will be held exclusively at the Longhua Culture and Sports Center, a key venue for the Games.

Located in the heart of Longhua District, the Longhua Culture and Sports Center is a multifunctional complex featuring a gymnasium, stadium, indoor swimming pool, and rooftop fitness trails. Renowned for hosting high-profile events such as the 2022–2023 WCBA All-Star Game, 2023 Chinese Super League Table Tennis Finals, and the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s Asian Cup, the venue has honed its expertise through establishing it self as a signature sports service facility and a new calling card of Longhua District.

The venue has already passed preliminary inspections by Shenzhen municipal executive committee of the Games and is among the first to meet anti-doping standards set by the provincial authorities.

Meanwhile, the Aeromodeling competition will utilize all three facilities, each offering unique advantages for the event.

Opened in April 2022, the Jianshang Sports Complex, a vertical-distributed venue spans 64,000 square meters across seven floors, boasts an innovative layered design which provides versatile indoor and outdoor spaces tailored to aeromodeling demands.

Nestled in Guanlan, Mission Hills Reclub boasts open fields and unobstructed airspacefree from highways or power lines, making it an ideal setting for aerial competitions.

The 15th National Games of China will be held in Guangdong Province and the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions from Nov. 9 to 21. The Games, comprising both competitive and public events, will see Shenzhen host 12 competitive sports with 82 sub-events and 7 public sports with 52 sub-events.
