Home quarantine required for travelers from high-risk areas

Travelers coming or returning to Shenzhen from high-risk areas for COVID-19 must undergo a seven-day home quarantine, according to the policy updated by the city’s health authority Thursday.


They must declare on the “深i您” WeChat miniprogram or report to their community before arrival or within 24 hours after arrival.

Meanwhile, they must take nucleic acid tests on the first, third, fifth and seventh day, respectively, after arriving in the city.


During the home quarantine period, they are not allowed to go out. If circumstances do not permit them to undergo home quarantine, centralized medical observation shall be adopted.


Aside from those from high-risk areas, the city has no specific requirements for arrivals from out of town.
