The Costco Galaxy in Longhua District, marking the first Costco store in South China, is scheduled to open to public on Jan. 12, 2024.

Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the Shenzhen store follows Costco’s trademark warehouse-style layout with a straightforward design. It showcases a diverse selection of over 4,000 brand-name and private-label products from both domestic and international sources.

Customers can have a taste at the brand’s signature sampling stations set up across the store, a significant element of the overall Costco in-store experience. The samples span a variety of products including fruits, snacks, beverages, prepared foods, and desserts, which are thoughtfully prepared by Costco employees or representatives from the brands featuring diverse variations in gastronomy.

Customers can take Metro Line 4 or 6 to Hongshan Station and take exit B to get to the store. It also has a parking lot offering over 1,000 spaces and charging facilities for NEVs.

Costco Wholesale Corporation is an U.S.-based multinational corporation which operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores. It became the third-largest retailer in the world in 2023. The corporation opened its first store on the Chinese Mainland in Shanghai in 2019.
