An intergrated parking facility in Minzhi Subdistrict, Longhua District has recently topped off and passed fire inspections. Once put into service, the complex will offer 588 parking spaces for buses and 190 spaces for cars, as well as 208 charging piles for new energy vehicles.

The complex, located near the intersection of Jianshang and Furong roads, has seven aboveground levels and two underground levels. Among the parking spaces, 15 are designated as maintanence bays and two are washing bays. It will serve as an intelligent new energy bus depot which resolves the parking, charging and reparing difficulties of buses in Longhua District, as well as eliminate the need for temporary bus parking lots and on-road parking.

The facade of the parking facility is adorned with perforated aluminum panels, making it a landmark building of the neighborhood. It is equipped with VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) air conditioning, variable frequency elevators and other energy-saving facilities to reduce emissions and enhance energy efficiency.

The project successfully addressed the challenge of supporting the weight of large buses parking on upper floors through the adoption of new technologies. To enhance the floor’s resistance to crack and wear, the facility drew on construction practices from comparable projects in other regions, utlizing a one-time forming concrete technology and highly durable water-based polyurethane floor coatings on both parking and ramp surfaces.

Being one of the most advanced multilevel and new energy-powered intelligent bus depots in China, this facility has implemented a smart management system that includes features such as car plate recognition, parking navigation, car finding, parking space reservation, drive-through service, NEV charging, and more.
