Over 100 representatives from Hong Kong-based travel agencies embarked on a tour of popular niche tourist attractions in Longhua on February 14. This event marked a significant step forward in the exploration of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation in the culture and tourism industries.
Participants visited several key locations, including the Longhua Future City Exhibition Hall, the new venue of the Shenzhen Art Museum, Karoo Ice Land, Yuanye Campsite, Marisfrolg Headquarters, and Galabay-Hong Kong Macao Bay. They also witnessed the launch of a traditional Chinese marriage-themed cultural street at Galabay.

The tour was a continuation of a promotion conference on Longhua’s cultural, tourism, and consumption resources held in Hong Kong prior to the Spring Festival holiday. By visiting these public destinations in person, the tour operators were able to gain valuable insights to help design travel plans tailored to the interests of Hong Kong residents planning to visit Longhua.

An agreement was signed between the Hong Kong China Tourism Association, the Hong Kong Chinese Business Tourism Association, and the Longhua District Tourism Promotion Association to enhance the service offerings for Hong Kong visitors to Longhua. Additionally, the Hong Kong China Tourism Association will collaborate with the property owner to open Shenzhen’s first visitor service center for Hong Kong travelers at Galabay.
With two metro lines passing through and terminating at the Futian Checkpoint, Longhua District has become one of the most popular destinations in Shenzhen for cross-border travelers from Hong Kong.
