Chinese robotics company Unitree will open its first showroom at the UniWorld Shopping Center in Longhua District on Aug. 16.
The showroom will feature Unitree’s signature humanoid and quadruped robots, giving visitors the opportunity to witness their bionic movements up close and even interact with them in simple ways. Guests can also enjoy AR (augmented reality) games, play chess with robots, and try rock climbing with the assistance of robotic exoskeleton devices.

During this year’s Spring Festival Gala on Chinese New Year’s Eve, 16 of Unitree’s H1 humanoid robots---dressed in floral red-and-white cheongsam vests---performed alongside a troupe of human dancers in a tightly choreographed Yangge folk dance, launching a high-tech celebration of the Year of the Snake.
Founded in 2016, Unitree Robotics specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of high-performance quadruped and humanoid robots for both consumer and industrial applications.
One of its key strengths lies in developing core components in-house—including motors, reducers, control systems, and LiDAR—along with proprietary motion control and sensor-processing algorithms. This vertical integration enables Unitree to deliver highly capable robots at competitive costs.
