Longhua mall named most popular shopping centers in S. China

The Uniwalk World shopping complex within the Longhua International Business Circle has been recognized as the most popular shopping centers in South China, according to the result of an investigation on 4,500 shopping malls and department stores in 32 major cities nationwide, jointly released by Winshang Group and A Map.


The Longhua Business International Circle was shortlisted among China’s top 100 influential business circles, according to the result of another survey carried out by Winshang Group.


Both lists were released on the cultural and tourism sub-forum of 2025 Shenzhen Investment Promotion Conference held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian District on Dec. 5.


The Uniworld, covering an area of 600,000 square meters, has introduced global and regional first stores of over 150 brands, including the country’s first iFly Indoor Skydiving Experience Center, and Anta’s first basketball court-themed flagship store across the globe.

In additional to serving as an exemplary model of first store economy, the complex continues to expand the boundaries of commercial value through diversified and innovative business models such as holding sports events, introducing brick-and-mortar stores of night economy and pet economy, and hosting IP-based exhibitions.


These efforts not only drive the high-quality development of Longhua’s consumer service sector, but also highlight the core value of major commercial complexes as Longhua advances toward building a key area for an international consumption center.


Uniworld recorded 700,000 visits and attracted the settlement 69 enterprises above designated size in 2024, earning national-level honors including “China’s Top 10 Trending Commercial Districts” and recognition as a national sports events outreach demonstration site.


To meet the rising demand brought by Hong Kong travelers, One Avenue has launched exclusive benefits for them, issued cross-border consumption guides, and optimized major payment scenarios. It has also introduced Longhua’s first tax-refund point offering immediate refund upon purchase, enhancing in-store shopping experiences.


In addition, the Longhua International Business Circle is also home to several other shopping centers, including Galaxy ICO City, Yitian Holiday Plaza, and Shangtang Hui, covering various consumer needs and market segments.
