The Longhua Government Online website is an important part of the district’s international service network. The website offers dedicated channels in English, French, Japanese, Korean and Arabic.

The foreign-language channels are organized into six sections covering Longhua, government services, investment opportunities, places to explore, life in the district, and channels for inquiries and feedback. Together, they give international users convenient access to the information and services they need to visit, live or do business in Longhua.

Separately, the Chinese-language section of the government website features a dedicated list of 92 administrative service items involving international residents and businesses. They cover areas such as business registration, work permits, official filings, qualification approvals and talent recognition.

Users can consult service guides and find instructions for completing the relevant procedures in one place, giving businesses convenient access to timely and practical information.

Click “Language” in the upper-left corner of the homepage and select your preferred language to enter the corresponding channel.

Longhua’s multilingual services extend beyond its website to mobile devices. The Longhua section of the “i深圳” app features a multilingual interface, allowing users to switch among English, French, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and other languages.

Whether they are looking for information about visas, accommodation, transportation, health care or education, users can find the resources they need with just a few taps.

The section also provides multilingual information about Longhua, including its land area, population, events, tourist attractions, cultural facilities and major shopping and commercial areas. These resources help international residents and visitors quickly get to know the district and navigate daily life more easily.

Open the app and tap the menu at the top left, select “Longhua District” to enter the Longhua section.

In person: Multilingual support for a smooth experience

While online services offer speed and convenience, multilingual assistance is also available at the Longhua District Government Service Center.

The center has established a dedicated foreign-language service counter staffed by English-speaking assistants in blue vests. They provide consultations in Chinese and English, as well as directions and assistance throughout the application process.

The queuing system in the service center also displays information in both languages, making it easier for international visitors to keep track of their place in line.

To help counter staff respond more effectively to inquiries from international visitors, the center regularly provides English-language training for government services. It is also equipped with smart translation devices supporting real-time translation in 138 languages, along with portable card-style translation devices.

For those unable to visit in person, the center operates a dedicated foreign-language consultation hotline. Trained staff provide remote assistance in Chinese and English, allowing callers to receive guidance wherever they are.
