A smart fashion project entitled “in3D photo-realistic 3D avatars scanner and maker” won the first prize at the final of the Tel Aviv subvenue of the ongoing Fifth China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition, which was held via video link at the Longhua Scientific & Innovation Center at Hongshan 6979 on Nov. 10.
A total of 21 projects from seven categories, including digital information, smart fashion, high-end equipment manufacturing, low-carbon technology, new material, bio-medicine and healthcare, and marine economy, participated in yesterday’s competition.
The first prize winner, together with the top two contestants from each category, qualify for the grand final of the innovation contest and will vie for a cash prize of more than one million yuan against the finalists from the other eight subvenues across the world. The winner will also enjoy the preferential talent introduction policies and get access to relevant talent services in Shenzhen.
In addition to the subvenue in the capital of Israel, the contest also has subvenues in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, in Sydney in Australia, in Toronto in Canada, in Berlin in Germany, in Tokyo in Japan, in Madrid in Spain, in Silicon Valley in the U.S., and in London in the U.K. The finals will be held both online and offline in Shenzhen by the end of this month, according to the organizer.
Li Xiangbin, secretary of the Science and Techonology Section of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the State of Israel, delivered a speech at the event via video link.
Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau deputy director Min Xiaobo, Longhua District Party chief Wang Wei and vice mayor Zhao Yanyan also attended the event.
The subvenue event was co-hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Longhua District Government and organized by the Longhua District Science, Technology and Innovation Bureau.
