Longhua District’s first smart nucleic acid testing box has been put in operation at Songyuansha Community in Guanhu Subdistrict starting May 21.
Thanks to the testing box, medical workers no longer need to wear protective suits, N95 masks and face shields under the scorching summer heat, according to Jia Jiangyu, a nurse working at the testing site. With the help of the box’s air-conditioning and negative pressure systems, medical workers can collect samples in a sterile environment, so that there is no need for them to gear themselve up in protective suits.
